Louisiana 6.23.15: Gov. Jindall Signed the following bills into law: HB 835 (Rep. Helena Moreno), SB 255 , (Sen. JP Morell) and SB 37 (Rep. Helena Moreno) These bills require training for police/campus officers on sexual assault, and allow examining coroner and officers to take charge of campus sexual assault cases and follow up. All bills call for sexual awareness training.
Maine 11.18.2014: The University of Maine Board of Trustees approved a new policy aimed at reducing cases of on-campus sexual assault.
