Straight talk about sexual violence is beginning to happen all around us.
You’ve likely read the recent Jackson Hole News&Guide articles about sexual assault in Teton County, as well as national headlines about sexual assault on college campuses, but you may not be as aware of the dialogue taking place among the teens in your lives.
How would you know? Teens aren’t notorious talkers. But they are talking about sexual violence with their peers and teachers.
As a parent and advocate, I encourage you to join the conversation. To help you have those conversations, I offer several facts about sexual violence that have surfaced from my experience in the community.
