Yes Means Yes is a five week student-run positive sexuality seminar that is running in partnership with STRIVE and GatorWell.
The objective is to create a space and opportunity for UF students to define consent, sexual assault and rape while also learning to think about and verbalize what a positive sexual experience means for them. Yes Means Yes is running each Thursday from March 12 to April 9 and will have two guest faculty facilitators each week.
The course is capped at 40 students, who will each read chapters from a book by the same name, Yes Means Yes, and then to engage critically, thoughtfully and compassionately with a variety of topics during the seminars.
